 For best performance this antenna will need to be tuned from the base against a very good earth system. A series fed arangement with inductive coupling to the feeder is recommended.

The tank whip is 8ft long when assembled.

130 turns of 19/0.2mm silver plated ptfe covered wire on 2in dia plastic drain pipe.
Measured inductance 260uH.

Pipe clips and packing to fix the whip to the pipe.
